A tool that searches for all of the configuration files of the installed packages' and checks if the .rpmsave or .rpmnew files exist.
It allows you to see the differencies between those files, keep current version or the other one (rpmsave or rpmnew) or deletes the files that are identical to the current one.
However, this program does not search for all rpmsave and rpmnew files. It only searches for the installed configuration files. If the package that they belong to has been uninstalled and the rpmsave file has been left behind, then the program will ignore it.
What is new in this release:
- Add non-interactive --diff mode
- Remove some white space in NAME section
- Remove garbage from man page
- rpmconf-base should not require rpmconf
What is new in version 0.3.3:
- A new option, --clean, finds and deletes orphaned .rpmnew and .rpmsave files.
- This release shows config file dates.
- It can skip the current file and continue with the next one.
- There is a new option -Z to print the SELinux context of the old and new file.
What is new in version 0.1.8:
- This release adds support for handling .rpmorig, fixes a localization problem, and has the ability to suspend itself and let you examine the situation.
