jQuery Portfolio is a simple yet very useful plugin which can simplify the task of building an online showcase for someone's work.
Developers can add a collection of items to the page, showing them as simple images displayed on a grid layout.
The grid is fully responsive and will adapt to the user's available viewport width, while also letting developers control the maximum number of columns to show.
For each portfolio item a category can be shown in the top left corner, while a caption field appears at the bottom when hovering it with the mouse.
Clicking a portfolio item will make it expand, imitating the Google Images search page layout.
Of course, a sample portfolio page is included with the plugin's download package, to show developers how it works and what they can do with it.
