ClassyLoupe

ClassyLoupe works by attaching a special handler to the mouse cursor.

Every time a user hovers the mouse over an image, a loupe is shown around the mouse cursor.

This loupe will help the user focus on the image around the mouse cursor, and if a zoom effect it's attached to the cursor, it will also improve it's aspect ratio, showing more details about the hovered picture.

ClassyLoupe let's developers use a custom shape for the loupe, and they can even turn off the image dimming effect if they want to.

Lots of examples are included with the jQuery ClassyLoupe package.
