Background Blur

Background Blur is a jQuery plugin that was specifically crafted to add a simple blur effect on top of images.

The effect was inspired by the one seen with recent versions of the iOS mobile operating system, and is quite easy to setup.

Developers only need to select an image and add a blur amount value.

Additionally the blur effect can also be animated into view using the Velocity.js animations library.

Examples and usage instructions are included with the download package.
