Vagrant

Vagrant is a tool for building complete development environments. With an easy-to-use workflow and focus on automation, Vagrant lowers development environment setup time, increases development/production parity, and makes the "works on my machine" excuse a relic of the past.

What is new in version 1.7.2:

• If you depended on the paths that Chef/Puppet provisioners use to store cookbooks (ex. "/tmp/vagrant-chef-1"), these will no longer be correct. Without this change, Chef/Puppet didn't work at all with vagrant provision. We expect this to affect only a minor number of people, since it's not something that was ever documented or recommended by Vagrant, or even meant to be supported.
