Sprite Cow was created to simplify how developers get the coordinates of smaller images embedded in a larger sprite.
The user can load a sprite into the Sprite Cow application and then simply point and click on the desired image and automatically get its CSS background-position coordinates.
Users can also selected a rectangle area with their mouse as well, surrounding the desired element and getting the CSS coordinates for that box as well.
When clicking or drag&drop selecting a sprite part, Sprite Cow can also automatically detect selected objects and adjust the selection around the containing item, minimizing the area needed to display it.
Support for Retina images and percentage positioning is also included, along with a special textbox underneath the Sprite Cow canvas where all the CSS code gets dumped.
What is new in this release:
- Making more room for the spritesheet view.
