pixelate.js

pixelate.js can work with or without the jQuery JavaScript framework.

To add the pixelation effect to an image, just add the "data-pixelate" attribute to any image tag.

The applied pixelation effect can be permanent, or it can optionally be removed when the user hovers his mouse over the image, mimicking a simple spoiler alert system.

In case the pixelation effect is too granular, the size of the pixel can be modified when needed.

A pixelate.js demo is included with the download package.
