jquery-cropbox plugin

The jquery-cropbox plugin takes a big image, a view section and applies that image to the view section background.

It then enables the user to drag and drop the background image inside the view zone until he's satisfied with the visibility of the image inside the view zone.

This selection becomes the crop area, for which coordinates are generated that can be sent to image processing toolkits for extracting the user selected area from the image and saved to a separate file.

A demo is included with the download package.

Requirements:

• JavaScript enabled on client side
• jQuery 1.7 or higher

Limitations:

• The plugin does not do any cropping, but only handles the crop area selection.
