filter.css works solely via CSS3 code and applies various image filters without relying on a server-side component.
Everything is done in the browser using CSS3 syntax and without any other external JS dependencies.
Currently supported filters:
Eureka
Karl
Rocky
London
FlipFlop
Introvert
Butterfly
Gold
Copper
Silver
Night
LoFi
All these are pre-configured filters and are a combination of settings made to an image's brightness, contrast, grayscale, saturation, sepia, invert, and hue-rotate settings.
Developers can easily build their own filters by taking one of the provided effects and tweaking its settings to match their desired output.
Requirements:
- CSS 3 enabled browser
Limitations:
- Works only with Webkit browsers.
