MyLauncher is a GNOME Shell extension that will implement a custom menu on the GNOME panel, allowing users to easily launch apps, shell scripts, or open folders.
To install this extension you must have GNOME Shell installed or Cinnamon. However, keep in mind that it has not been tested with Cinnamon.
