This firewall-friendly FTP proxy allows multiple computers to share Internet access via FTP in a secure environment. The reverse-proxy mode makes internal FTP servers on firewall-protected networks accessible from the Internet. The proxy offers "install-and-forget" operation and superior stability. It has received the Microsoft "Designed for Windows" certification.
This application-level proxy performs smart inspection of the FTP protocol, which enables it to block many Internet threats. It enhances network security by offsetting known vulnerabilities of the protocol and offering full control over every FTP connection. Once configured, the FTP Proxy works in the background and requires minimal attention. Implemented as a Windows service, the proxy automatically starts when the computer is powered up (no user login is required), so it can operate on unattended servers.
Version 1.4 is a minor upgrade that includes many new features extending capabilities of the proxy. The user interface is completely redesigned to make it more intuitive and easier to use.
