Leapstrap is a modified version of Bootstrap, taking its original components and adding support for Leap Motion devices.
If you're not familiar with Leap Motion, this is an American company that provides sensors and devices that translate hand and finger movements into input streams for various devices and applications.
Basically Leap Motion devices will let you play games with your hands and fingers from afar, without having to use keyboards or joysticks.
Since TVs and computers can be connected to these devices and can navigate the Web, Leapstrap will allow webmasters to create websites capable of translating input from Leap sensors into actual interactions.
The Leapstrap framework basically takes the Bootstrap components and adds Leap Motion support to each of them, allowing developers to easily prototype and deploy Leap-friendly Web pages just like they would be doing when using the classic Bootstrap toolkit.
The framework is actually made up of LeapJS and a special CSS file, so if you've already created a site on Bootstrap, just add these two files to your project and you'll automatically have Leapstrap activated as well.
But there's nothing better than a video presentation:
What is new in this release:
- Made documentation a bit nicer
- Made a new example "Services"
