King23

Still under development.

If you got accustomed to working with PHP frameworks, King23 can be a real helpful utility if your clients don't require you to build nothing over the top.

There's no point in loading a large PHP framework like Zend or CakePHP that is sometimes ten times bigger on disk than the entire code you'll ever write to power your app/website.

It's pretty obvious you won't need all of a framework's features, so why not use a smaller codebase, for the sake of simplicity (besides speed and maintainability).

You can easily scale down to a smaller framework like King23, which was built on the classic MVC principles on which the larger aforementioned frameworks were also built on, but doesn't intend to cover all the features a developer might ever need, but merely the basic ones.
