jQuery.customSelect

jQuery.customSelect is a pretty lightweight plugin that makes it possible to give dropdown select lists a facelift and style them the way you want them to.

The original dropdown functionality is kept all intact and the plugin only works on a visual level, containing the original select tag inside a DIV and showing a new interface through it.

This approach is different from all other similar plugins because it does not hide the select tag but uses an intermediary DIV element to add the style the customizations on top of it.

A demo is included with the plugin's package.
