Jwordsplitter is a small Java library for splitting German compound words. The splitting is based on a simple algorithm that uses a built-in dictionary. The component allows you to implement this function into your applications when you need to deal with complex German words. The library includes a German dictionary and uses an algorithm to detect and split the words. The dictionary can be exported and recreated in order to change the word list.
