The Fisheye Thumbnail XML Gallery component is controlled via a local, external XML settings file.
This file allows users to customize the component's items just by changing a few lines of code, all without having to recompile the entire SWF.
At page load, Fisheye Thumbnail XML Gallery loads the horizontal thumbnail list and shows a small title, description and URL every time the user hovers the mouse over an image.
While showing these details, the image thumbnail is transformed using various settings detailed in the XML file.
The applied effect is known as a dock effect, also known as fisheye.
