Universal File Mover

As its name suggests, Universal File Mover is an open source and commercial software that provides an platform-independent graphical utility for manipulating files and folder.

Universal File Mover (UFM) features over 40 action commands separated into 5 categories: File Actions, Network Actions, Control Actions, WebSphere MQ Actions and Other Actions.

Being written in Java, Universal File Mover is a cross-platform application that supports Linux, UNIX, IBM i (OS/400), Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.

What is new in this release:

• This version fixes a null pointer exception when the Status element is not specified within the Global element.
• It adds a wait in MQReceive Action for the child thread to close the queue and disconnect from the queue manager when run as a daemon or Windows Service.

Requirements:

• WebSphere MQ v5.3 or higher
• Java 2 Standard Edition Runtime Environment
