KRename

Krename is a powerful batch renamer for KDE. KRename project allows you to easily rename hundreds or even more files in one go.

The filenames can be created by parts of the original filename, numbering the files or accessing hundreds of informations about the file, like creation date or Exif informations of an image.

What is new in this release:

• This version fixes a compilation error in the PoDoFo plugin and updates the Czech translation.

• KRenae 4.0.7 fixes several problems with renaming directories.

What is new in version 4.0.5:

• This release adds advanced sorting modes, based on KRename tokens such as [filesize] or [creationdate] and the font plugin to rename font files is back. The release can be found as usual at http://www.krename.net .

What is new in version 4.0.4:

• KRename 4.0.4 has been released, containing many smaller improvements, a new PoDoFo based plugin to rename files based on PDF metadata, translation updates and a few bugs fixes.

What is new in version 4.0.3:

• This release contains a few bug fixes concerning manual changes to filenames and re-adds the subdirectory-sorting plugin from the KDE3 version. This plugin will put your files into numbered subdirectories (01, 02, ...) while renaming and has a few options to control its behaviour.
