MBOX Viewer Freeware is an adequate application to view MBOX email files and their associated attachments without the need of external support. The emails can be viewed with its associated properties such as sender's email id, receiver's email id, subject of the email, sent & received date with time, and size in bytes.During scanning process of MBOX file, its properties such as file name, file size, and creation date are visible to the user. The user can estimate the time remaining to complete the scanning process with the help of percentage wheel visible on the software pane. Just after the completion of scanning process, a list of emails is visible to users with its properties. It gives the feasibility to view the contents of multiple MBOX files by adding them one-by-one. The two tabs represent each component of an email message, i.e. message and attachment. One tab is Normal View mode that displays the exact email contents and another tab is dedicatedfor attachment. The attachments are viewed in its original format whether they are images, doc files, PDF files, .ppt. There is no file size limitation for MBOX file, a file having many number of emails can be open with this tool without any problem. This viewer works well with imposing no restriction to have any compatible application installed in the user's machine. The user can work best with its flexible screen view mode, by changing the view mode from (default) horizontal to vertical as per the choice. MBOX Viewer contains a simple structure that lets a non-technical person easily deal with it to view MBOX files. This software is compatible with Windows 8.1 and all lower versions of the OS.
