By default, terms with zero nodes associated with them are considered orphans.
Though administrators can specify the number of nodes associated with a term in order for it to be considered an orphan.
This module deletes them all, or by selecting the desired ones, making it easy to manage taxonomy terms.
Installation
Unpack in your modules folder (usually '/sites/all/modules/')
Enable under Administer > Site Building > Modules
