PolipoStatusBar encapsulates the lightweight, caching web proxy polipo into a convenient status bar menuitem. Polipo is already contained in the application bundle for your convenience.
Notable features include:

- Access to a significant number of polipo's configuration options through a GUI
- Ad-filter, can be activated if desired, in which case polipo will use an internal list of hosts to block ads.
Afer installing and running the software, make sure to change the network preferences to use polipo as the local proxy.
