The Who's Online PHP Script records all this data in a MySQL database, which can be later accessed to provide important traffic statistics and traffic analysis material.
The traffic data and the maps are displayed in a specially crafted admin panel, but the maps can also be shown on the frontend as well.
The Who's Online PHP Script uses the GeoLite geographical database from MaxMind, and works relatively in real-time (with a small delay).
Besides website visitors, the script can also differentiate search bots and the site's owner.

What is new in version 3.00:
- This is a major overhaul to how the program is installed on the server. The include PHP and image files now reside in /whos-online/ folder.
- The /whos-online/include-whos-online-settings.php has been substantially changed to add more text strings that can be translated. Also it now has basic and advanced settings.
- There are bug fixes and the code uses a class now.
- The code is tested with PHP 5.4 to upgrade from older versions, refer to readme-files/upgrading from 1.xx or 2.xx to 3.0 or higher.txt.

- Fixed blank map in PHP5.3 to upgrade from 2.24, replace wo-worldmap.php, include-whos-online-header.php and include-whos-online-page.php
