Utilizing the powerful Tether positioning library, the unimaginatively named Tooltip library is a powerful, cross-browser tested, and easy to use library for producing UI tooltips.
JS is used to control tooltip behavior, and CSS for the tooltips interface. No browser hacks and no weird quirks that make you feel something is about to go wrong any minute now with your tooltips.
The plugin includes two ways of passing tooltip content, either via classic JS options, or via HTML 5 data attributes instead.
Everything is well documented and it should be pretty easy to add your own tooltips with your own styles to any Web page.
Supported positioning scenarios:
Left top
Left middle
Left bottom
Bottom left
Bottom center
Bottom right
Right bottom
Right middle
Right top
Top right
Top center
Top left
