SysInfo works by running a series of predetermined checks.

After all verifications are done, the results are presented as a YAML, JSON, CSV, or TSV file.

An additional platform identifier for the system it has been executed on can also be generated. This is in the form of: VM-OS-IMPLEMENTATION-ARCHITECTURE.

SysInfo works with normal Ruby interpreters, but it can also be used with JRuby as well.
