The "slider" component comes with support for a basic interface, and two JS events which can detect when the slider is being used and when the dragging ended.
Min & max slider values are supported, and an initial slider value can be set at page load.
When the dragging ends, the developer can acquire the new value from the slider.
This enables developers to trigger callbacks and use the slider's output in their applications.
A simple slider example is included with the download package.
