SimpleCrypt works on top of PHP's MCrypt extension, allowing developers to encrypt and hide sensitive content using a desired algorithm and key.
Both encryption and decryption operations are supported.
SimpleCrypt works out of the box and supports all of MCrypt's algorithms.
The class provides an OOP layer which allows developers to easily change encryption methods without making too many changes to the application's source code.
An example is included with the SimpleCrypt download package.
