Scribe is not like any other regular WYSIWYG editor. It's ugly, it has no default skin, and is not user friendly in any way.

But if you take the time to style and add it to your projects, you can rest assured you have a solid text formatting solution for your project, tested in a live production environment like The Guardian's website.

Scribe was developed around a minimal core, with all extra functionality coming via plugins.

The editor also relies on the new HTML 5 contentEditable attribute, working with modern technologies, for easier editing and an easier implementation.
