Apache Xalan Java uses XPath to parse and address XML documents. It then uses XSLT to assemble XSL XML stylesheets for styling the document into a more easy to read version of itself.
The result is much more comprehensible than the amalgam of letters and numbers most XML documents are, allowing technical and non-technical users to easily read its content.
Xalan can be used from the Java command line or via an applet or a servlet.
A similar library from Apache for C++ developers is also available.
