Amanda

JSON is a light-weight, language independent, data interchange format.

It is widely used to today especially in converting data from a native language to an agnostic, well-structured format which can then be send via the Internet or used in data storage.

Generating or reading JSON data is extremely easy, especially if the JSON data respects basic formatting rules.

Amanda supports IETF's JSON Schema Internet Draft standard.
