This website availability guide and inventory template is intended to help anyone who wants to ensure that their website is available 24/7. It addresses two questions: Monitoring your website to check it is running; and how to fix it by providing a few tips, tools and links to additional guidance. The Excel template helps you to marshal and organise your inventory information so that when disaster occurs you are prepared. Sample Perl scripts to check DNS entries and Perl module versions are also included.
