CitrusDB

CitrusDB is an open source customer database application that uses PHP and a database back-end (currently MySQL).

This software can keep track of customer information, CRM, services, products, billing, and customer service information. The program will run on any PHP enabled web server.

This software is now in beta. There is still alot of room for tweaking code and making things more streamlined, a whole lot of room. The code of CitrusDB might even be able to be used now for something other than to play around with, but since it's beta I won't recommend using it in production yet. For long time users, please note that the initial login name has changed from "test" to "admin" now!

What is new in this release:

• This version now requires SSL for login and uses the phpass framework to support stronger bcrypt password hashes.
• A new service churn report has been added.
• Message tabs now have separate pages for each usergroup and give a green notification upon new messages, and the tab nav style has been added to the online customer portal.

What is new in version 2.1.1:

• This is a maintenance release that fixes a minor bug in the credit card import and update function.
• It adds a new vendor history for auditing accounts.
• It adds a column to the customer summary that shows a monthly billable total.
• It adds a Portuguese language file.
• It adds a way to retry batch exports if this failed when decrypting card data, and adds an autoeinvoice script.

What is new in version 1.3.2:

• This release fixes a number of small issues including the decimal precision for money amounts in some tables.
• It has faster exporting of large batches, and includes authorize.net and credit card reminder scripts.

What is new in version 1.3:

• a new statusupdate script that is to be run nightly to update account status and create an account management file
• a carrier dependent service type used for services provided by third parties who have to be notified of deactivation
• separate notification of account modifications such as enable and reactivate
• new payment history entries for cancels, cancels that owe money (cancel with fee), and carrier dependent shutoff notices
• lock out a connection after too many login failures
• service changes keep old information intact, and create a new service.

Requirements:

• Works with PHP 4.0 or greater and MySQL 3.23 or greater register_globals must be turned Off in your php.ini
