PyPy.js is the PyPy JiT (Just-in-Time) compiler translated to JavaScript using Emscripten.
PyPy.js leverages the work put together into creating a better and faster Python compiler via the PyPy project and avoids re-writing and re-making the same mistakes just to end up at the same result via a pure JavaScript re-implementation of the native Python compiler.
Using Emscripten, a LLVM-to-JS compiler, the highly optimized PyPy source code is translated to JavaScript and the end result is PyPy.js, a JavaScript library able of interpreting Python code via a Node.js installation.
The entire interpreter has achieved quite some good results during its benchmark tests, being faster than current versions of CPython.
Requirements:
- Node.js
