Originally created and developed by John Resig, creator of jQuery, it was one of the first tries of bringing browser JS runtime to server environments.
Envjs is what industry experts call a 'headless' browser. A portable JS runtime compiler that can execute JavaScript code from anywhere.
Runs on the Rhino engine by default, but bridges to Node.js, V8, SpiderMonkey, Python and Ruby also exist.
