Contenido was written in PHP and MySQL, allowing any user to deploy his website and have it working in a few minutes.

Every administration task is handled via an UI, as it would be normal in this modern era of the Web.

• PHP script language, Version 5 minimum (for Contenido Version 4.8.X, PHP 4 is no longer supported, though it still runs)
• MySQL database (Version 5.0 minimum)
• Webserver Apache (Version 2 minimum)
