Pidgeon is the little brother of Pidgin, an open source, small and friendly IRC chat client that can be extended to support the XMPP Jabber protocol.
Pidgeon is a raw IRC client, therefore it is designed to be used by experienced users, not newbies.
Pidgeon is not affiliated with Pidgin in any way. However, it is a cross-platform software written in Mono/C#, supporting Linux, Mac OS X and Windows OSes.

- Completely rewritten (using GTK now so that it works well in Linux).
- Several new features and improvements (new icons, and changing the icon when the network is disconnected).
- Improved security (users can block ctcp or ignore other users).
- A fix for broken ircd servers.
- Many fixes and improvements (over 200 commits).

- This version adds performance fixes, bugfixes, improved pidgeon services features, improved configuration, and more colors.
