TimeBoxed is a timer to get things done. Very light user interface that doesn't disturb you while you work. You can choose from a variety of alerts to notify you when time is up: sound, speech alert, visual animations, Growl messages. It supports Applescript: you can write your own scripts to automate TimeBoxed.
