jCal

jCal was written as an alternative to the jQuery UI date picker widget.

This was done because every time the date picking widget was needed, the entire jQuery UI bulky file was loaded as well.

By using a stand-alone solution, developers can avoid loading the larger jQuery UI core, just for one simple widget.

jCal is also Bootstrap compatible, so it works fine with Bootstrap-based themes as well.

What is new in this release:

• Added an updated.jcal event when elements are modified. This avoids confusion with any form change events.
• Added buttons for skipping forward/backward by year.

• Fix for weekday assignments (again).

What is new in version 0.1.4:

• Fixed package manifest file.
