Creditcard.js was built to reduce the amount of errors and bad user input with classic credit card and payment forms.
Instead of dumping form fields one after the other, Creditcard.js creates a container that mimics the size and look of a real life credit card.
With this improved interface, lots of the classic problems of data recognition and proper field input are eliminated, users entering the appropriate data in the appropriate field, mainly because the fields are placed like on a real life credit card display.
Along with this new UI, Creditcard.js also features a simple system for recognizing credit card manufacturers based on the credit card number, letting the user know as soon as possible if he has entered a bad credit card number, or a number from a different credit card company.
Creditcard.js is offered under a commercial license, but there's a trial you can download and play around with.
