Those of us who surf the web almost on a compulsive way will be thankful for this Firefox tab, thanks to which we won't miss an interesting online article ever again.
Taboo lets you save any tab in a kind of bookmarking system of its own, allowing you to read them later at any time. The extension takes a screenshot of the webpage - which helps to identify them faster and can be enlarged by hovering your mouse over them - and also uses the session saver code to keep information about the URL and scroll position.
To save a tab, just press the correspondent button on the browser's toolbar. The other button will take you to your collection of saved tabs, which can be browsed as a list of thumbnails or via a handy calendar.
There's also a built-in search tool to find a given tab - provided you remember at least one word included in its title.
I personally found this extension to be extremely helpful for people that usually open tabs by the dozen and are constantly bookmarking sites just because there's an interesting article.
However, I also found some drawbacks: the enlarged thumbnail doesn't always display correctly and the calendar cannot be customized. What's more, I think Taboo is not compatible with other session saving extensions (like Tab Mix Plus) because it didn't work properly when this extension was also installed in the browser.
Despite some minor flaws, Taboo is still a very useful, handy extension with which you can easily manage any online content you want to save for later reading.
