Some websites are prettier than others. Too many images, flashing ads and stupid banners all contribute to a really ugly website, but sometimes just closing the page isn't an option. Nuke Anything Enhanced is a great Firefox add-on that will make your browsing much more pleasant, hiding the ugly bits so that you can surf in peace.

Nuke Anything Enhanced's function is built-into the context menu. If you right-click on an object, you'll see the option 'Remove this object'. If you select multiple options and right click, you'll also see 'Remove selection' or 'Remove everything else' (except the selection). You'll also be able to undo your last move if it was an object, although selections can't be undone. The effects are temporary (if you refresh the page, for instance, you'll see the original) but if you remove objects, they'll stay removed for printing or saving.

Nuke Anything Enhanced works on lots, but not all, objects. I couldn't find a definitive list, but it doesn't seem to work on flash-based ads, for example. Other than that, Nuke Anything Enhanced is really useful for selectively removing garbage from web pages. It tidies up unwanted objects, makes text easier to read and saves ink and paper when printing - all without slowing your browser down.

Nuke Anything Enhanced tidies up your web pages and makes browsing much easier on the eyes.
