ZipBackUp is designed to be an easy-to-use, set-it-and-forget-it backup solution. This is not a program to back up your whole system, but focuses on data which you don't want to lose, be it work-related, images, documents, email, whatever. Usually this is data you may wish to back up daily, but there may be data that changes less frequently, and you can back that up less frequently - perhaps weekly or even monthly. You may want to back up to another drive, portable drive, or USB memory stick. Or OneDrive or DropBox if you have those set up on your PC. Or play it ultra safe and back up to a FTP or SFTP location. Features: Multiple 'Jobs', with multiple files and/or folders in each. Each Job may have a different backup location. Each Job can be set to back up at different times. Jobs can be backed up to local/network drives, FTP, SFTP, locally set OneDrive or DropBox locations. Backups are compressed into 7-Zip archives named for the file/folder backed up, and includes the date/time of the backup for easy identification. Job backups may optionally be stored in a created folder named for the job, and includes the date/time of backup. This way whole job backups can be more easily deleted or moved. Easily edit the Jobs or Scheduled Tasks. Extract any file in backup zip using 7-Zip. Ability to close a program before backup, then re-opening it after the backup. Useful for Email data files, which cannot be backed up while the mail application (eg Outlook, Thunderbird etc) is running.
