EventSoundControl is a commercial, yet multi-platform application designed from the offset to become the right hand of any aspiring or amateur DJ. It's the perfect musical accompaniment for sporting events, stage shows, carnivals, and other live events where there's need for a professional audio software.

Both a music player and jingle

The application can be both a music player and jingle for live events, and it promises to won't let you down when you need it the most thanks to its numerous features and functionalities. EventSoundControl can also be used to stream online radio, as well as for everything else where you want to take control of the music and sounds.

Supports ASIO drivers and VST plugins

Internally, EventSoundControl makes use of the ASIO drivers, which are said to be essential in professional environments and live shows, and the application is capable of routing various sounds with different volume levels through a bunch of output channels. Additionally, you can use Virtual Studio Technology (VST) plugins to expand EventSoundControl with more features.

Works on Linux, Mac, and Windows

As mentioned before, EventSoundControl is a cross-platform application, which means that it can be used on your Mac or Windows PC, as well as on a computer powered by a GNU/Linux distribution (64-bit packages are provided for Ubuntu and Debian distros on the downloads page). Being a commercial app, EventSoundControl has some limitations that you can find below.

Limitations in the unregistered version
  • The application terminates after a session of 20 minutes.

What is new in this release:

  • System now controllable via OSC (a sample layout for touchosc you can find in the documents folder of EventSoundControl) which includes support for triggering jingley by midi devices (via OSCulator on mac for example)
  • New hotkey system allows hotkeys for playlist player, panic and talkover too, not only jingle player
  • All module content (audio file links, paths of streams etc) is now saved in eventset file instead of registry
  • Drag and drop support for import of audio files in jingle player and playlist player
  • Import of multiple files to jingle player at once via menu now possible
  • Moving of sounds in jingle player between groups via menu now possible
  • New fader module allows to control the volume of an output directly in main window without the need to show the mixer
  • Audio editor now supports control of the gain for sounds in jingle player
  • Playlist player now has its own playlists (saved in eventset file) with support of moving songs between playlists, export of playlists as m3u and random sorting of playlists
  • In playlist player the use of the audio editor is possible to set start and end points
