Icecast.org Directory Service

Icecast.org Directory Service is an Amarok script that allows you to browse the Icecast.org directory at xiph.org.

It downloads the directory during skript initialization and sorts the streams by type (OGG, AAC+, AAC and others).

Have fun and listen to something other than MP3.

What is new in this release:

• Works again with Amarok 2.4
• Alternative version "b" is without the status message pop-up.

What is new in version 1.2:

• search stream by its name
• known issues:
• when amarok builds the station list for the first time, it omits a lot of stations. Workaround: search for any station. After the search bar is cleared again, the list will be complete.
• there is at the moment no way to reload the station list without restarting amarok

What is new in version 1.1:

• bughunting release, removing the large "others" section improves stability. Sections now only are accessible after they have been loaded so the empty sections shouldn't occur any more. Xiph fish logo for ogg vorbis streams added
