What is new in this release:

• iZotope MBIT+ redithering has been added as part of the base soundBlade package.
• UI (user interface) and functionality improvements have been made to the QuickTime Interlock option.
• Support for AIFC import has been added as part of the base soundBlade package.
• Sonic EQ le, a free version of Sonic Studio's legendary minimal phase equalization, has been added as part of the base soundBlade package.
• the Quartet DynPEQ option, a dynamic equalizer plugin for soundBlade from Wholegrain Digital Systems, is now shipping.
• The DSD Import option for soundBlade was announced, which imports DSD IFF files into soundBlade, transcoding them into LPCM data for post-production and export. Export of LPCM files as DSD data is also supported. This is an especially useful option for low cost DSD production in conjunction with Korg's DSD recorders.
• The Model 302 DSP I/O Processor has been upgraded with new capabilities, including eight channels of AES/EBU I/O and more DSP horsepower. The Model 302 is now a complete, low cost, stand-alone multichannel location recorder/processor and, it's the perfect complement to soundBlade, in studio or out.
