Midi Quartet is a digital 12-channel audio composer, MIDI synthesizer, score editor, recording studio, and Player. There are 8 standard channels for composing the main music score, plus 4 special channels for composing rhythms, chords or repetitive motifs. Instruments include 120+ standard instruments and 30+ percussion devices. Compositions can be saved as editable score files, standard MID, and 16 bit CD quality WAV files. The background rhythm or motif can be saved and played back as a separate file. Use the Rhythm composer to create or edit background motifs, chords and melodies. An intuitive graphic interface makes creating and editing a score simple and effective. The interface resembles a sheet music score. You compose music by drawing notes on the staff with your mouse.
