ACCU Ripper is a small-sized computer program which digitally grabs audio data from an audio CD rather than reading tracks from the sound card, and saves them on your hard-disk. More technically, it directly talks to your CD hardware via an ASPI interface and save the tracks as single-compressed audio files (mp3, wma, ogg) by digitally reading the tracks you selected. This process is generally known as 'RIPPIN'. The ACCU Ripper interface was designed in such way that even a non-technical man could save his favorite songs as mp3 files from his audio CD without any effort. By ripping tracks from your audio CD, you can make your 'favorites list' for your music library, share popular tracks with your family and friends, or make copies of your songs for back-up purposes. ACCU Ripper supports WAV, MP3, WMA and OGG output formats. ID3 tags (version 1 and 2) for MP3 files are fully supported.
