Avoision

Avoision is a straightforward, yet captivating distillation of vintage arcade game requiring strategy, precision, and perseverance with a singular objective: capture the red square while evading innumerable cruel, spiteful white squares.

The rules of the game are as follows:

1. Move the green block around with the arrow keys,
2. Capture the red block before the timer runs out to score points,
3. Avoid all the white blocks that appear as you progress through the game,
4. Try to get the highest score.

What is new in this release:

• This version features a revamped scoring system that rewards speed and probably recklessness.
• A new "Extreme" level of difficulty was also added.

• This release features all-new background music and numerous bugfixes.

• Enhanced graphics and visual effects (no longer just solid boxes)
• New sound effects
• Minor gameplay/UI tweaks to make the game more playable
