Yamm stands for "Yet Another Mega Menu" and adds support for a menu component not included with the default Bootstrap packages: the mega-menu.
Mega-menus are often used in e-commerce sites and Web portals, usually in large Web projects where the navigation menu holds a huge amount of navigation links and even extra details like images, lists, or other UI widgets.
The Yamm component basically gives developers the tools for displaying anything inside a menu's dropdown panel, not just neatly stacked nested HTML lists.
This means accordions, multiple lists, cards, panels, images, tables, tab panels, badges, and about anything you want.
Developers can even put a simple grid system inside the mega-menu dropdown panel and have the content show up on different columns and rows.
Yamm works with both major versions of the Bootstrap framework, 2.x and 3.x.
Demos are included with the Yamm component's download package.
