The pro version of xScan 4 is a very powerful solution that allows you to monitor the behavior and health of multiple Mac computers. It's powered by high performance real time technologies. It can alerts you in real time about hardware issues. It also give you information about problems with the operating system, disks or with some processes. A very simple process named xScanPro Daemon needs to be installed on all monitored computers. The goal of this process is to collect information of a computer and check the health of all components.
Once collected, information have to be centralised on a server. This architecture allows you to access to the data from any location without any problem with firewall, routers or proxy servers. Two options are offered: using your own Mac server with a dedicated server application or using xStream cloud service.
