WP Github Gist

The plugin uses a workaround method for embedding not only Gists, but even hosted GitHub files (not supported natively).

Embedding the Gists and GitHub files in WP posts and pages, a special shortcode system is provided ( [gist] and [github] ), detailed in the plugin's README file.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

What is new in this release:

• Added the ability to choose gist-it server.
• Added information to the screen help tab.
• Generated Pot file for translation.

Requirements:

• WordPress 2.8 or higher
